Yup. so these days my main blog is fish fantasy. That is, it's my most popular blog. I don't have any plans to continue updating my blogger here or my livejournal. However, you never know. This is the 10 year anniversary of my livejournal, and I had intended on making a book to highlight all the ups and downs, but in retrospect, it was mostly downs and a lot of fights with my friends and heart-ache. Things are smooth sailing these days so here's to your future!

Smokin' Joe Haines: Bass Player extraordinaire Joe is amazing. Missy told me he was the most talented person she knew about a decade ago and I didn't believe her. I heard his recordings with Telly, still wasn't sold. We played a show @ Trash Bar, which I videotaped, and I still doubted the extraordinary skill. Then I was about to master the JSE album as is- (w me playing bass on most of it) and this motherfucker recorded nearly 20 bass tracks to my music in about 72 hours. As sensitive and jealous as I may be to see him playing with other people I know, I know it's the right thing to do. He claims he special guests with so many bands because there's no good bass players in his neck of the woods on (way the fuck out) Long Island. Still, he totally turned a good record into a great one. If you need a bass player, I'd hit him up.
